At Western Rainforest, our core philosophy is built on operational intelligence with zero data liability. We provide near-precision classification workflows (including Longiflo, Rucervus, Euptilura, and Euderus Set) designed for complex environments.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you visit our website or use our API services.

1. Our Core Principle: Stateless Processing (Zero Retention)

Western Rainforest operates entirely on a stateless processing architecture. When you utilize our classification models via our API endpoints (e.g., intent routing or compliance checks):

• No Data Storage: We do not store, log, or persist the text inputs, payloads, or classification outputs sent to our models.
• In-Memory Processing: Data is processed exclusively in-memory within isolated, single-tenant Google Cloud Run environments.
• Instant Deletion: The moment the inference result (confidence score and intent tag) is returned to the client, the payload is permanently flushed from our systems.

Because we do not store your payload data, we cannot read, share, sell, or suffer a data breach of your proprietary business communications.

2. Information We Collect

While we do not store your API payload data, we do collect limited operational data to maintain our services:

• Account & Billing Data: Names, email addresses, and billing information of our clients for account management.
• Telemetry & API Logs: We log metadata such as API request timestamps, latency metrics, API key IDs, and HTTP response codes (e.g., 200 OK, 401 Unauthorized) to monitor system health and prevent abuse. Payload contents are explicitly excluded from these logs.

3. India-Specific Privacy Rights

For residents and operations within India, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

• Role: Western Rainforest acts strictly as a "Data Processor" on behalf of our enterprise clients (the "Data Fiduciaries").
• Data Minimization: Because our architecture is zero-retention, we inherently satisfy the highest standards of data minimization and purpose limitation.

4. US-Specific Privacy Rights

For residents and operations within the United States, including states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as the California Privacy Rights Act - CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, etc.):

• No Sale or Sharing of Data: Western Rainforest does not sell or share personal information. We do not use customer API payloads to train our foundational models without explicit, separate opt-in agreements.
• Service Provider Status: We operate strictly as a "Service Provider" under the CCPA/CPRA.
• Consumer Rights: Because we do not retain API payloads, we cannot provide access to or delete specific historical API inputs. For account-related data (billing, email), US users may request access or deletion by contacting us at legal@westernrainforest.com.
